  About SHACOG     Funding     SHACOG  
SHACOG operating funds are produced from three general sources:

MEMBERSHIP FEES (each member community is assessed an annual membership fee as well as a fee for participation in any of those programs which it selects),

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION (the County pays for services provided by SHACOG for the administration of the CDBG program), and

PROGRAM INCOME (each program pays for the administration and support services required by the program). It should be noted that SHACOG members over the past few years have recovered their membership fees on savings achieved through participation in the SHACOG Purchasing Alliance alone.
